Chandler Hill Vineyards sits on historic land once home to Joseph Chandler, a freed man who settled in Defiance in the early 1870s. Today, his original cabin site is where our winery and tasting room stand, overlooking the rolling hills at the gateway to Missouri Wine Country.
“Fantastic place. Big patio offering a beautiful view. Live band was playing great songs. Fire oven pizza was delicious and the wines we tried were great quality. They also had an extensive list of perennial draught beers.”
“Absolutely stunning view, so far it's one of the best views at a winery I've seen. Lots of outdoor covered seating. Seating is up on a hillside and in the distance you look upon more rolling hills, pictures do not do it justice. I had the fish tacos with fries for lunch, they were very tasty and filling. Great place to enjoy a beautiful day. Recommend visiting this cute quaint little town.”
