March 21: Around the World Wine Dinner: The Commonwealth

We're going New World vs. New World for our next Around the World Wine Dinner, featuring the wines of Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, and the U.K.

This dinner features five courses of blended Commonwealth fare along with two wine pairings: one from our American wine portfolio and one from a Commonwealth wine region.

$75/person, $65/Wine Club

Menu

Sweet Potato and roasted beet salad with watercress and quinoa topped with candied pecans, cranberries, and goat cheese tossed in a harissa vinaigrette

Mulligatawny soup garnished with fresh cilantro and micro flowers

Pumpkin seed and gruyere encrusted Barramundi served with a leek mashed potato and roasted fennel topped with apple-mango chutney

Marinated lamb chop served with butternut squash stuffed with dried cherry-walnut cous cous and topped with a Cabernet-currant jus

Lamington Cake: Butter cake dipped in chocolate and rolled in desiccated coconut then topped with fresh mint and strawberry sauce
