WINES
This 2010 Reserve Sauvignon Blanc from Mendocino is Certified Organic. Intensely fragrant, with aromas of grapefruit, featuring hints of lemon rind and pear blossom. Crisp acidity provides fresh citrus and structure. It offers flavors of stone fruit, white peach, and citrus followed by a hint of slate and fresh cut herbs. This bright wine finishes vibrantly with candied lemon.
This 2008 Napa Valley Chardonnay offers an aroma of kiwi, clove spice, nectarine and lime zest with a hint of toasty oak. On the palate this exquisite Chardonnay is chock full of lush, mouth filling flavors of peach, apricot and papaya backed by vanilla and allspice. This wine will continue to age for the next 2 to 4 years.
This Pinot Noir from Oregon’s Willamette Valley is red-purple in color. Aromas of ripe cherry, spiced plum, and clove spice first hit the nasal palate, followed by a rich blend of baking spice, mushroom and jalapeño. On the palate, this wine is rich and full for a Pinot Noir enhancing the spice and depth of this beautiful 2009 vintage. This wine will continue to drink well over the next 6 to 8 years.
This Merlot from Spring Mountain in Napa Valley is a rich ruby in color. The initial aromas off the glass are full of dark cherry cola, black plum, ripe strawberry, and fig. Then more delicate aromas of red licorice and nutmeg come through. The palate is silky in texture with sweet tannins. This wine will continue to improve for the next 8-12 years.
This Zinfandel from the Russian River Valley is deep ruby-red in color. It offers an exotically perfumed, slightly smoky bouquet of raspberry, blueberry, sandalwood and cracked pepper. The palate offers nervier red fruits, along with surprisingly graceful floral qualities and silky texture. This wine will continue to age for the next 4 to 6 years.
Our 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon from Spring Mountain in Napa Valley is dark plum in color and full to the edge of the glass. The nose is masculine and makes itself known in the glass with rich aromas of blackberry, currant, smoked meats, and dried leaves. The second approach leads to more interesting aromas of mint chocolate chip, cinnamon stick and dried rose petal. Flavors of milk chocolate, almond and bright red berries linger on the palate. This wine will continue to age for 8-12 years. |
